Well I have probably around 16 nerf guns and the raider is the largest capacity and shoots fast but costs a lot. The titan is good for the beginning of the match because it is very powerful. If you are looking for a cheap starter you should get the nerf longshot or recon, both are kind of expensive but are reliable and easy to use. The firefly is a fast gun and is cheap to buy but only fires micro darts. The diskshot gun and the scout, (the diskshot is in the diskshot set and the scout is found in the nerf unity power system), are both very reliable single shot guns but for the fact that the scout can't fire streamline darts. the nerf hornet, (found at "toys-r-us"), is great for long-ranged spraying. The magstrike is a spray-and-pray type of gun because it is fully automatic and must be pumped up and that takes time! The nightfinder is great for accuracy and is very reliable but can't shoot streamline darts.

Well personally i like the nerf rapid fire as-20 or the vulcan ebf-25 first the rapid fire has 20 darts and it takes 23 pumps to fully fill the air tank and then you can choose rapid fire which fores all shots off in about 3 seconds or you can choose single fire where you can either single fire or fire in a slower version of rapid fire.The rapid fire is awesome for rushing. The vulcan has a 25 dart belt and takes 6 d cell batterys to opperate and comes with a tripod so you can use it as a turret
Not the Vulcan. Why? Yes it may have a 25 dart belt but it shoots three darts per second so all of your ammo will go in roughly 8 seconds then you’ll just have to pick them up again. Not the Longshot. Why? Yes it looks like a sniper rifle but it’s NOT, it has very poor range, even the Maverick has better range. Speaking of the Maverick, the Maverick is a revolver with a capacity of 6 darts and very accurate and can shoot very far. The Recon has 6 shots and you can customize it alot with detatchable parts and has an average distance of 35 feet however it can get jammed a lot. The Raider has a drum magazine with a capacity of 35 darts and has two modes, single shot and rapid fire which requires pumping. These are just some of the Nerf weapons because i can’t really be bothered to name them all. But I hope this narrows down your pick of a Nerf gun. Have fun choosing!
