Question Details: I have some extra money, and I was thinking about buying a new nerf gun. I was thinking of buying the Recon because it's lighter and doesn't take batteries like the vulcan. The vulcan is full-auto, but I don't use nerf guns that much with my friends, but I fight with my little brother, and i'm afraid that i'll hurt him with it. Any suggestions?

Don't get the Recon. Get the LongShot instead if you have the money, which you may do. It shoots A LOT further and also comes with a crappy but functional extra gun.
The vulcan should also be a good buy if you do indoor wars. I would recommend it. However, it seems that a new 35 dart capacity cartridge is going to be available for the LongShot/ Recon in the near future. ;D

Ok first off, if you’re going to get the recon then you’re probably going to want to use all the stuff it comes with to put on other guns.I recommend the firefly, a gun that I don’t know the name of ( but its pumped, shoots 20 darts, and is rapid fire (my friends call it the “crazy fire”)), I will also recommend the long shot because it has a scope, 2 clips, can be an assault rifle or sniper. Oh and don’t worry about injuries. None of the guns hurt (unless they use ballistic balls) unless you shoot in the face.
