i also have turned the flip up sight into a laser pointer and the red light into extreme led also i have made my own sight and made a double clip thats like ak-47 of m-16 with the curve and its awesome
thats pretty intense but mine shoots 120ft and its only got air restirker removed and its extrewmely loud

The new 2010 version of the nerf recon has more range in it. If u do the same mods to the new 2010 version you’ll probly get more range
It’s probably already been pointed out, but paint some part of the barrel orange so you don’t get arrested for bringing that thing off your property.

@19drventure I cannot remember for sure but I know it was a Danco o-ring from Lowe’s. I looked at it today and I am thinking it is a #35 or #40 but I am not sure.

my darts flew 25 – 28 with barrel and 30-38 with no barrel i just sterched the spring twisted it and from 10 feet with barrel now 25-28 feet

does the longstrike or recon start to break and not go as far if you shoot them without a bullet…? i think thats whats happening to mine. the recon goes like 5 feet and the longshhot goes about 7
