Nerf N-Strike Multiplayer? See Comments for Answers

Question Details: i bought another gun for the game nerf n-strike (for wii) but i i try to play multiplayer i get to the screen to pick the person you want to be but it only lets the first person pick their guy but i cant connect the second one Plzzzz help
