Question Details: I have a N-Strike Raider CS-35 that I bought a short while ago. I was wondering if there was anything that I need to do before I start painting it (i.e. sand it) or can I just spray some paint on there and call it good? No need to give me ideas on what paint scheme to use, I already have a pretty awesome one in mind. >:)

put tape on parts u don't want painted

You should put some tape over the part you don’t want to paint over. You should also put napkins and stuff in the spot were the drum mag goes in, so the paint would get into the internals. And sanding it would be good, though I did it once, and forgot the insides, and broke it.
